Quiet now
House sure seems empty with both girls gone. So often I hear people say, "I'm glad to see the kids come, and I'm glad to see them go." Can't help but wonder if there is something wrong with me, or with them. True, there was a time Sat. when I wished they'd go for a Coke or something so I'd have a little time to pull myself together, but never look forward to them returning to their home.
Trina and I took Bill to the Chinese Buffet for his 75th birthday dinner, then she headed east. She's somewhere in PA tonight. Sure miss having Libby (Bill's step-mom) in Pittsburgh as a stop-over spot.

I'm still waiting for the 'quiet' home. True, there are times when I love having all the kids around, but there are those times when I crave some quiet time.
